Hydro Thunder rockin' like a ....?

You guys tell me. I downloaded the demo, and really want to like it. However, the game feels very pedestrian to me. If it had merely mirrored the pedigree of Hydro Thunder, I would have been happy -- but it just doesn't seem to capture the same frantic feel.

What are your thoughts? Anyone here spend the cash to get the full version?

$15 downloadable only games do not interest me. I'll wait until it is $10 or less before I try it out. Hydro Thunder was awesome, it's too bad you don't like this one, I felt from the videos that the camera angle was too close/low or something.
