Castlevania Harmony of Despair XBLA

Post by Octopod »

Trailer- http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-20 ... ony/700129

Release date is August 4th. Looks good, I am sure I will be getting this. XBLA releases make me sad though. I would much rather have a hard copy but I imagine it will eventual get released on some kind of XBLA comp.

I too would much rather have this game on PS3 or wii. This doesn't make any sense to me. "Castlevania: Harmony of Despair may be released on Sony's PlayStation Network if the game sells well on Microsoft Xbox 360 Live Arcade."

Don't worry I'll be buying it on my 360. So that'll bring you one step closer to getting it on your PS3. Or you know, you could just buy a 360? They're not exactly expensive these days. We can get the elites for about £130 with a bunch of games.

My plan is to try the demo and see if I'd be happy with just the single player. If it seems like a lot of the fun is the multiplayer I'm going to have to hold off for a PSN port, since I won't buy Live on principle.

Never understood people basing something on Principle. Because it hurts the person trying to make a point.

When the choice is between paying money for a larger userbase of douchebags and getting a smaller but less annoying community for free I don't see how I'm being hurt. Plus, I've spent far too much time playing on free dedicated servers on the PC to pay money to play peer-to-peer.

I would say that psn is less annoying. Atleast vocally. Because no one talks. It's a subscription based service; I could complain about why I have to pay for runescape, A game that uses Java. But I don't because the cost is low for what i get.

Ed,Of course something is only worth the cost if you use it. If a $10 monthly fee was added to Cod.. I wouldn't use it because I don't play often enough.
