Multiple consoles off one ac adaptor

Hello. I would like to make a power supply that can run multiple consoles off of one adapter (one plug). For example Id like to have one that plugs into both a Famicom AV and a Super Famicom Jr. I have seen one youtube video of a guy that did it for his Sega stuff with a laptop power brick. I saw it years ago. Forget who it was. Scottish guy i think. I am also aware of things like this

EDIT: Found that vid i was talking about.

I just had thoughts if a custom power adapter should fail, the risk of frying multiple consoles in one bang. The adapter should have enough amps to support all consoles powered on should that ever accidentally happened.
Best to use the original power bricks each isolated with correct volts and amps to its matched console and a power strip or two. If too many consoles are powered on at once, no risk of frying due to power strip 15 amp circuit breaker.

Any particular reason you don't wanna just use a surge protector that's made for multiple wall wart adapters?
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000J2 ... 1_3&sr=8-3I don't know of any relevant links, but it's not really complicated. You'll have to find a power supply that has the appropriate output voltage(s) and enough amps for said consoles. Then it's just a matter of tying in the correct barrel types, however you desire them to be arranged.

Just thought it looked neat. Need a small project to keep me busy.
I'm a visual learner so i thought maybe someone knew of some tutorials or videos

There are a load of different voltages retro consoles need depending on the system, many are easy using one voltage however others can use multiple.
Basically, you need to establish what the amperages are you need and also voltages, then rig up to a central transformer (12v DC at about 4 amps should be fine) to various step-down regulators, and then to male power connectors to connect to each console system you wish to. Unless you want to install Intellivision or Colecovision you shouldn't need negative voltages, and you should get away with (12v), 3.3v, 8.5v, 10v as a mixture between the retro systems.
