Fixed :P

True, but i was talking purely graphics upgrades, which Ruby and Sapphire gave us.

I thought it was leaf green and fire red that gave the graphic updates since they were remakes of red and green :?

I am glad someone finally did this, after Ziggy and I tossed it around in 09, and I killed a couple super gameboys in the process...

I encourage all modders.
I also understand the 'negativity'. People are just trying to figure out what the use is.
I don't see it either. Wouldn't just putting a gameboy everdrive in the super gameboy make more sense?
But I just love how some GB hardware schematics are being discussed.
Please could you point out the exact purpose of this project. Might it just be for fun and finding out if it is possible at all. Or being the first to do something like this? Thinking outside the box, perhaps?
Good luck and please keep us posted

It is just for fun and to have a unique "SNES" game. I am starting to have a growing interest in electronics and I thought this would be a cool project to do that should be simple and doable.

I don't think I would learn much with the GB Everdrive + Super Game Boy combo. It just piqued my curiosity as to why nobody has done it if it seems possible.

So far, not much has been done. Still waiting for the Super Game Boy to arrive to test the games and to start taking things apart. Might take another week or so.

OK I have most of the pieces.

My first questions is how do I remove the cartridge holder from the Super Game Boy. Am I supposed to desolder it?

Oh yeah. Your hand soldering skills are gonna have to be pretty good.
