You can still play Skyward Sword on the Gamepad... but you'll need to use the Wiimote and Nunchuck.

If I ever decide to give Xenoblade 1 another shot, I'll definitely have to give it a try on the Wii U VC ^w^
Also, quick note, apparently the Japanese VC store is WAY bigger than the American one. It has like 140 more games :O

Oh...I know. I’m over 40 hours into that game now. The Wii Remote and Nunchuck are critical. I should be able to use the Gamepad for Xenoblade Chronicles, though!
