I'm looking forward to this game. I'm really curious to see what everyone comes up with (beyond the obligatory obscene block statues.)

I ordered from Amazon on account of the discount, so my copy won't be coming until the 15th :? Until then I'll just have to live vicariously through the rest of you :P

I play retro stuff like 90% of the time. I still think the Wii U, 3DS, and Vita are all worth owning.

As for this game, looks amazing. I'll probably ask for it for Christmas.

Hey I totally forgot about this. Nintendo is releasing the game with a physical book that isn't a manual. Instead it showcases levels made by nintendo and codes to play it, plus a lot of cool twists.

Nintendo making physical copies of games with little added bonuses? Whoah the whole world is coming to an end. Wink wink.

I don't have a Vita. Otherwise, we are identical. (WiiU and 3Ds are awesome.) I will also ask for this for Christmas (if I don't already have it by then).

Based on my knowledge of Luke's tastes...He should get a WiiU, buy copies of DuckTales Remastered, NES Remix Pack, New Super Mario Bros U + New Super Luigi U, Rayman Legends, and Super Mario Maker, and download Runner 2. That will keep him busy for a while.

What is this discount you speak of!?
I think I'm going to order from Amazon also, otherwise I'll go get it Midnight on Thursday/Friday morning. BMF are you doing a midnight release?

So... I don't have Rayman Legends yet, and I don't know what Runner 2 is, but otherwise you just described my library (+ Bayonetta 2)... apparently Luke and I have similar tastes.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

Runner 2 is the best rhythm-based platformer. You should definitely pick it up from the eShop.

Also, you shoudl play Rayman Legends. It is probably the best 2D platformer on any system. It is simply amazing, and the WiiU version is the best version of the game.

Also, Rayman Origins is unlockable in Rayman Legends. Big plus. The Wii U version is definitely the one to get (entire game was built around it, and it shows on other platforms)

Shout-out to the Vita version for retaining the stuff that makes the Wii U version worthwhile sans the local multiplayer component.
