Great story on the Genesis Samson.

Yeah Joe, in a weird way it discouraged me for collecting for the NES for a long time. Finally dove back in and enjoyed it, & now I have my original back!

Ok, he sent me a video vs a pic. Has two controllers, two zappers, RF, & system. Just remembering a few of my titles I picked up much later (Castlevania, Zelda, Jaws, Tiger Heli) were loaned out when I was in high school but all my original childhood titles were there except for Tetris:

- Mario/Duck Hunt
- Mario/Duck Hunt/Track & Field
- Mario Bros 3
- Sesame Street 1, 2, 3
- Platoon
- Code Name Viper
- Mikey Mousecapade
- Captain Skyhawk
- TMNT II Arcade

Overall, very happy to get all this back after nearly a decade! I think my dad is as equally excited to find it & return it!

Technically I borrowed Mickey from cousin, who still collects, about 20 years ago... :) wonder if he's missing it

Appreciate the shared excitement! Can't wait to have it in my possession. They live a couple hours away. Road trip excuse...

Great story and I cannot imagine what that would be like. It must've been an emotional experience. Thanks for sharing.

If your cousin still collects, they might like having that game back with the story attached to it.

OP updated w pics.

@fastbilly, unfortunately my cousin is light in "accumulated" games these days. He just sold off most his stuff due to space constraints in his current set up. Will certainly share the story with him :)
