I wonder if there is a twin-stick project here, CRT. One stick to control Mac, one to navigate the menu?

This is the biggest thing that held me back from ever playing the game (I did give Doc Louis a run recently).

Not sure if a joke tease or encouragement to mod a Wiimote.

The Twinstick concept would be interesting for slamming the sticks forward for the left and right punches. One stick down could be duck, other stick down for block and either stick sideways for sidestep. A missed opportunity by not including Classic Controller coding in the game.

I ended up buying the 1st Punchout edition due to such a killer price at only ten bucks at the Swap meet!

Still looking to see it the Punchout Selects version has the Dpad Menu option. Anyone have a copy that could check? :?

It doesn't. They did put dpad menu selection into the Doc Louis version, though.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
