There's something magical feeling about playing an RPG on a tiny handheld device. It's like you're holding an entire world in your hands. I find it to be a comfy and fulfilling experience. If I could somehow play all my other console RPGs on my 3DS and Vita I would chose to do so.

Agreed. I downloaded FF6 and FF7 on the Vita and bought Chrono Trigger on the DS for that reason.
The thing with Persona 4 is some of those dungeons can be a right bitch and you can't save in the dungeons without returning all the way back to the first floor... Ugh (unless someone is literally about to tell me I got it all wrong and you can actually return to the floor you get up to lol). On the Vita, it's no issue though. If I need a break, I simply just put the console into sleep mode and pick it up when I next feel like it. Just as long as I don't leave the Vita more than 10 days or something and forget to charge the battery.

Honestly, I just want the ability to play any game I own anywhere I want to.

PS2 on handheld? Yes, please. 3DS on the TV? Absolutely!
(This might explain why I've hacked most of the systems I have that are hackable.)

Finally got to try out my MM xl tonight, it came yesterday but I was out of town. First impression, it feels great, and looks awesome. I did the system transfer with no real issues and started checking out games in 3d. I know its been said a bunch of times already, but the new "stable 3d" is awesome! it really does keep it steady and looks great. it doesnt seem to put as much of a strain on my eyes as the regular also. I dont have any games to try out the "c-stick" yet, going to pick up MM soon, but it feels ok, like I expected it to.

Well Majora's Mask uses it for the camera so that'll get you into it. Also I noticed you can navigate the 3DS menu using the stick too.
The system inspired me to start playing again in the evenings and over the last 3 nights I was able to play through Adventure Time and finish it (Ice King original one.) I know the second game is some rogue-like broken disaster but the recent release from before Christmas looks solid so I may keep an eye out for that. I'm also thinking a nice brainless TMNT (cartoon, not that awful movie) brawler could be good times too. But right now I'm looking for a RPG, thinking I'll settle on Shin Megami Tensei 4 since it's normal, not some tactical RPG like a lot of other Atlus releases. The last time I touched a SMT related game was Revelations on GBC.

I grabbed mario 3d land with some of my coins from club nintendo last night (been meaning to get the game again) and was excited to try out the 3d. After playing 4 levels, I forgot it was even on, as in it felt so natural that I was just able to play without worrying about going cross eyed or losing the spot.
I have to admit, for a minute I was on the fence about keeping my MM xl, the ebay prices were getting crazy, with the system easily selling for 400-450. Thinking I could just sell it, buy a regular one, and come out with cash in my pocket

, well Im glad I opened it up and went for it, because not only is the system awesome, I love the MM design.

I'm still bummed I wasn't able to get new MM 3DS after best buy canceled my order... but now I can't use the $50 credit towards a red or black model right now because best buy is currently sold out... I hope they get one back in stock before the coupon expires on the 23rd.

Super Mario 3D Land has the best use of the 3D effect I've personally seen on the system. It's also a marvelous game. Though the best fun doesn't start until you reach the Special Worlds.

yikes, i guess i need to contact someone at best buy to see what I can do. I definitely don't want to loose this $50 credit.
