Did I get a good deal on my GC?

Post by philipofmacedon »

After all the help I got on my Dreamcast thread I thought I'd poll you guys about my Gamecube. A few months ago I purchased a GC off Ebay for 160 bucks, shipping included. The package included

1 Dol-001 GC, along with power and composite cables.
1 set of component cables
4 wavebirds, all in great shape
1 1019 nintendo brand memory card
1 copy of Metroid Prime

I've been having a blast with it so far. I swear my friends and I must play smash brothers at least once a week. I know some people didn't like Wind Waker's graphics but I think they're pretty sweet.

So what do you guys think? Did I get a good deal? Pay too much? About right?

the wavebirds make it worthwhile, I bought a wavebird new at wal mart for ~$22+tax back when I had a GC, used it once and sold the GC but kept the wavebird, I looked them up on ebay and prices had climbed up to around $40 for some odd reason

Nice deal mate. I'd be interested to see how you go picking up games as the remaining GC titles down here in Aus are still about $AUD100. Which is more than your regular Wii title. Complete rip off.
