Just curious to learn if Wii owners bought any game from the VC.

I do own a Wii and I bought F-Zero (SNES) and planning F-Zero (N64).

Love the saga !! :D

I bought Sonic 1, PC Kid, Mario 64 and that shooter (Star Soldier I think its called!) when I bought the Wii on launch. Just wanted to see what it was like.

I dont think I will be making many more purchases since I think the prices are too high.

F-Zero on the N64 was class. Just a shame that they didn't include the DD addon content i.e. track designer. Missed opportunity in my book.

I have Super Mario Bros, Blazing Lazers, and SFII: The World Warrior. I am definitely going to purchase more games down the line from the VC, as well as a classic controller. I imagine my next purchase will be Hyper Fighting, since it released two days after I had purchased World Warrior, and I had no idea until it was too late.

I have,

Super Mario Bros.,
Super Mario World,
Super Mario 64,
Sonic the Hedgehog,
Bonk's Adventure,
Donkey Kong Country,
Link to the Past,
Kirby's Adventure.

And possibly another.

I was going to get Sonic 2 but I think I'll just go for Sonic Jam now I've bought a Saturn! :)

Ive bought pretty much every bloody PAL release there is tbh - and apart from Zelda Link To The Past and Super Mario World I rarely play them, but still I like messing around with them every so now and then. My VC Ocarina is now rendered useless by my recent acquisition of Wind Waker Special Edition.

Star Soldier
Super Mario World
Mario Bros
Zelda I
Zelda II
Zelda Link To The Past
Zelda Ocarina Of Time
Mario 64
F Zero
Kirbys Adventure
Bonk's Adventure
Donkey Kong Country
Street Fighter SNES version, which althou I grew up playing it, is utterly, utterly dreadful, VC emulation is so accurate that the midi tracks even slow down as the game stutters (which is just how I remember it :p )
R Type II and III (I think)
Final Fight i think
Kid Chameleon
Comix Zone

loads more but I cant remember

yeh I really do think the HD is a missed opportunity if they dont do it

Neo Geo emulation and even GC downloads would be brilliant, much as my elitist gamer bias hates to say it, I'm pretty sure Ikaruga would do very well as a downloadable game (all though it would definitely sort the casual wheat from the chaffe ;) )

another thing I think they should do is emulate actual arcade boards if possible, instead of only console ports or games - man Id kill to kick back and play Bad Dudes vs Dragonninja on my TV :)

None, the actual games are much cheaper, perhaps if they release something from another region or some extra content like the FZero track editor kinn mentioned, or netplay (very unlikely). But judging the way things are, I doubt I'll ever buy anything from it.

Same for me pretty much. Granted I don't have a Wii, but the only way I'll buy any of the games when I have one is if they start providing ways of improving the graphics other than simple 480p or start selling imports like sin and punishment. Lol, I want an English version of the Evangelion 64 game too.

So far just Super Mario 64 (never owned a N4, so this was a treat) and Bomberman '93. I still have 1400 points spare over that I can't decide what to get with. I'm mainly waiting for Kirby Fun-Pak/Super Star.

Pullmyfinger I thought the same way for some time. Until I realized that it was far easier for me just to move around the wii and some cube controllers than my 64, TG16, and the Wii (or a shuttle pc with controller adaptors). Are we getting ripped off? Probably, but it is worth the $20 something dollars to me for ease of transport and simplicity.

Though I really do wish they had added in kalleria.
