Yes it's on DS, and different than the Wii version. A trailer:

It's good stuff.

We can say it's the third game in the Sonic Rush series. I recommend it as well.

FYI: I check the Nintendo store pretty often. Today I checked and came across these limited 3DSes:

The Yoshi 3DS XL (not *New* version): https://store.nintendo.com/ng3/us/po/br ... =cat750772

Crystal Red 2DS: https://store.nintendo.com/ng3/us/po/br ... =cat750772

Crystal Blue 2DS:

If anyone was missing out or want something a bit unique (I love clear handhelds) then yeah, go for it

Ugh I totally mucked up applying the protective screen to the top screen of my 3DS. First time I messed one of those up.

I just took it off, got the touch screen one on good though.

EDIT: Are there no GBA games on the eshop for the 3DS?

Nope those tools at Nintendo stubbornly have reserved them for the ambassador program only. The only hope I'd think would be GBA on the Switch at this point after they launch their game libraries with that paid online subscription.

I mean, they DID straight up promise that the GBA ambassador games would never be sold on the store. Sticking to their word at least.

I will admit that it's fairly weird they never released any /other/ GBA games on the service though. That's a very odd choice indeed, given how I'm pretty sure you can buy GBA games on the Wii U's virtual console O.o

Oh I know and I can respect that, but at the same time I had a theory that when they did it at the time they picked whatever would more or less just stock work on the 3DS without having to rework/recode things. That would explain some of the odd choices of which games did or didn't make the cut among those in the program.

I would have figured if it was an emulation problem that needed more kick once the New3DS rolled out they'd have done right by people and did some more for everyone much like when that upgrade allowed for SNES games.

Yeah that's why I asked! So... I can play some GBA games on my Wii U, but can't play old handheld games on a new handheld. Nintendo makes it hard to give them money sometimes.

That's exactly what I thought way back when. The way they specifically left out some of the BEST games and gave us their inferior brothers and sisters (we got Metroid Fusion instead of Metroid Zero Mission, for example) made it seem like they were saving the really good stuff to be sold later on the store. Then that never really happened, so it was just "wut?" O.o

I always figured they were future-proofing. GBA games on 3DS are run on the hardware, not fully emulated. If the hardware changes in the wrong way it probably introduces issues with supporting those games in future.

I don't think Fusion is inferior to Zero Mission. Fusion was a unique title and Zero Mission was a remake. Sounds like they made a good choice, there.
