Also the SNK/Playmore NeoGeo game system is due on Virtual Console later on this year and some of those game can be over a hundred megs
Lol, I think he's confusing megabits for megabytes or something, as the highest size NeoGeo rom I've ever had is Metal Slug 3, and that's like, what, 50mb? Large, but definately not as crazy as that guy's talking about. Maybe he's thinking of NGCD or something.

It's good that more and more people have brought this up though. I know at IGN Wii this is one of the major complaints Matt and Bozon had about the VC. Hopefully nintendo can fix this. A reorganization is definately in order. After they fix this, then they should fix the online setup, but I doubt that will happen...

The largest ROMs were around 80 megabytes, and that was zipped. These include KOF2003, Fatal Fury Mark of the Wolves, and Metal Slug 5. Uncompressed, they are much more. He is correct.

Yes, but those are the MAME releases. There is no way SNK would ever use those because they are just too big. The NRX sizes are far more realistic as to what SNK would use. It's obvious there is redundant or unnecessary data, so it can get the heave ho. But if you don't want to believe that, that's fine. Everyone's open to their thoughts and opinions, what they think are "facts" even but I'm not having another one sided argument with you, or really anyone for that matter. And don't infer that as a threat or me trying to start a fight or w/e. I'm just stating a preference.

There you go, taking everything personally again. You stated the size of the ROMs you have seen, and I did the same. Nothing more was said.

I'm not sure why you brought up MAME though. Wiki lists the NeoGeo Metal Slug 5 cart as a 708 megabit, which is nearly 90 megabytes. Yes, damn near every game on a cartridge for any system has redundant data, but not enough to make a stink over.
