Gamecube Import Titles

by elph Mon Jun 04, 2007 1:10 am

After racketboy wrote a bit about Nintendo Puzzle Collection, it got me wondering- what other great import titles exist for the Gamecube? It appears that Mr Driller Drill Land is a sweet piece of multi-player import gaming, and I've heard tremendous things about Homeland for those of you who are into RPGs. Any other titles I should know about before placing an order with Playasia?

Dream TV World Fighters - Smashbros styled gameplay with a plethora of characters from different companies. The cube version is 4 player. Bomberman, Optimus Prime, Simon Belmont, and a Maoi head seems like a good battle.

I need three more cubes, I think one will be a Japanese one or possibly a Q. This is why I am also interested in this topic. But I have already shown my only knowledge of the library. If its not handheld or from before the 64/32 bit generation I dont know to much about it.

I'd love to have a platinum dol-001 with four wavebirds. And I'd love even more to have 8 cubes each with a seat, steering wheel, and progressive scan TV all linked up for LAN play....

Mario Kart doesnt need a full screen, unless you know of another game that allows network play? I mean Kirby and 1080 are only 4 player and lanning PSO is kinda sketchy, granted playing it on the Wii gets around al lthe technical problems with the hardware for splitscreen.

Actually does Fzero GX support network play? If it does I will be buying several copies of it soon, its only 5 or 6 dollars nowadays.

Unfortunately no, FZero does not. Sucks...

As for Mario Kart, I'd love to get a load of EDTVs, Nice Chairs, and some Wheels and get a LAN setup. I'm surprised there aren't any such things in the few remaining arcades. It'd be hellof cheaper than getting a bunch of MKGP cabs. It's too bad Nintendo didn't support their broadband adapter all that well...:(

As for Homeland, isn't that only really fun when played online? :?:

I don't know if Homeland is fun on- or offline, because I don't have it. RPG fans rave about it, though. However, as of April 30, 2007 Homeland's online gaming is defunct.

That's exactly what I was thinking about the arcade thing... I'd just rather have it in my home :D
