while not impossible, i'd say no way. aside from the band being (seemingly, from the article) very obscure, the common part is just 3 notes (plus their octaves). it's not like we're talking "ice ice baby" here

I'm pretty sure the notes and the lyrics to the "Super Mario Bros. Super Show" theme are a direct rip on an old Run DMC song about an italian plumber...
