Neo geo AES Nam 1975 chopped up audio

I am playing my neo geo and my audio for NAM 1975 is chopped up and comes in bits and pieces...The strange thing is the audio on the neo geo start-up screen is cystal clear...Think it is the game that is causing it?

Are all the pins clean? Does it happen on any other game?

try cleaning the connector pins on the cart theres a great guide on jamma nation x for cleaning carts.
