That's easy gonna open my nes this weekend, it already has a new connector but while in there maybe put a nice blue led. Its been a while since I last used it.

Tried it but the nes doesn't power up. Went 4 to 14 and also tried 4 to 11 no luck. Tried lifting the pin but its difficult.

Yeah, had to suck all the solder out of that pad and then carefully pull on the pin from the top while heating the little bit of leftover solder from the bottom.executioner wrote:Tried it but the nes doesn't power up. Somehow it works now. Was trying to get it out maybe took out most of the solder, the pin is still in so its not making contact and have no blinking light anymore.
