What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

We'd appreciate it if you don't use the term "cancer" as an adjective.

Her own show was pretty good I thought, well paired with Poison Ivy.

In this bonkers Japanese import, seven high school girls go to stay with a distant relative, only to be picked off one by one by the supernatural. Often described as a Scooby Doo episode directed by Mario Bava.

House is a lot of fun. You mentioned Bava though and he might make the best horror films imo although William Castle would be close behind.

I've been meaning to watch Bava's films. As for William Castle I've seen the original House on Haunted Hill.

Also, I just finished watching Big Time Adolescence, which is basically Pete Davidson being a shiftless burnout the whole time. So basically it's Pete Davidson: The Movie. Whether it's good or bad depends on your taste. But his character does seem to have his heart in the right place, but his head's often up his ass between bong hits.

Speaking of bong hits, prior to that I watched Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, which I thoroughly enjoyed much more. Classic Kevin Smith, but also not 100% a rehash of a rehash of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot felt more like the "The Force Awakens" to Strike Back's "A New Hope". Basically same plot but not the same film, if that makes sense. It's almost 3am and I go to work in almost 13 hours.

And the write-up of the week is....

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes

What a trip

Initially I thought that I'd already seen it before. But partway through I realized that I must have been misremembering it with one of its sequels. Good (but weird) times.

Did you know the helicopter crash in that film was an accident? Since no one was hurt, they left it in.

Also, my favorite gag in the film is when a Japanese scientist gets excited and bumps a wall, which causes a photo of the USS Arizona to fall off the wall and sink in a fish tank. It's such a terrible joke.
