Some soundtracks are good enough to keep around as normal music, if you like the style. And some remixes are just surprisingly good, I mean Ive played the Swing Mario 2 remix from OC Remix at wedding receptions to great approval:

Most games I could care less about there soundtracks, but I have a select few that I keep with me. Namely Zeldas, Full Throttle, Phantasy Star Online, and Chrono Cross. They make great driving music.

CT has some of the best game music I've ever heard, and Frog's theme is my favorite of them. I listen to that frequently.
