Let me rephrase: should I skip II for now and play III w/ you guys, or should I just plan to play II "someday" first?

I'm just going to play Oath in Felghana since I can get it on Steam for super cheap. I've never done a "together" before. Should be fun.

I have the SNES version, and played the Genesis version years ago on the Sega Channel. Also have the PSP version.

Speaking of the PSP version, is it alright to continue where I left off, or start over for this?

By PSP version, you mean Felghana right? I was confused for a sec.

If it's been a looooong time just start over. It's like a 15 hour game.

Oh boy, Ys III. Last time I played the SNES version I raged quit against the final boss because of how bad the hit detection can be. If I can, maybe I'll just cheat and play it on PC (since I bought it but haven't played it for that yet)...

Yeah last boss in the SNES version is pretty broken unfortunately. The hit detection in that entire port is pretty iffy. Thank god for the extremely forgiving save system or the game would verge on unplayable.

You and me are in the same boat. Hit detection sucks in the SNES version.

I just started playing this game and I really like it so far. I love how fast paced it is compared to most RPGs and the music is awesome (Steam Version). I'm still in the opening mine but it's really fun.
