Back in SHC 2012, Markey Jester ported the Sonic CD special stages into Sonic 1. Just go into the vault and it's under SHC2012 as Sonic 1 - CDSS Edition.

IIRC it was a proof of concept at best.

I backed Phantom Gear on Kickstarter ages ago. Hopefully we don't end up with another Duke Nukem Forever. But at least then it'd get released, unlike New Osaka.
