I've been keeping an eye on Retro Sumus for a while now and they've just launched a Kickstarter for Xenocider, a 3D shooter inspired by Space Harrier. It looks really impressive for an indie title on the Dreamcast.
I know some people feel fatigued, burnt out or fed up by all the Kickstarter projects, but I'm always willing to support the DC scene and this one looks interesting.

Count me in. Saw this kickstarter pop up on the Dreamcast subreddit. I dig Space Harrier, and it's cool the company released a rough demo before simply asking for donations. I backed it!
Yeah, like I said in my first post, I had been watching the developers for a while. Xenocider looks amazing and I also really love the look of their other game Ameba, which is a visual novel/point and click detective adventure game they're planning to release on the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast.
I spoke to the developers (or at least whoever managed their Twitter account) a couple of weeks back and they told me Xenocider would be heading to Kickstarter and that Ameba will be coming later down the line. So I had been waiting for the Kickstarter to launch, so I could pledge. I back these guys so much, because they seem to be putting so much life into their projects and working really hard. Not to mention they're exploring other areas, instead of the usual SHMUPS you see on Dreamcast (as much as I love those, it's a saturated market on Dreamcast).
What tier did you guys opt for? I'm so tempted by the Limited PAL or Metal Case edition for $120, but at the moment I've just gone for the $70 Special Edition. I have a baby on the way, so need to be responsible with money now.

I just went for the standard physical edition. I'm trying to curb my spending. It's not working well, but you know, every little bit helps mitigate my irresponsibility a little bit.
