Sega Teradrive

Post by grittykitty »

i saw this crazy thing in a retro game shop downtown, but i didn't have my camera. after forgetting about it completely, i randomly came across the name today and googled it and sure enough it was the same thing. quite interesting combo of pc and megadrive (genesis)

http://nfg.2y.net/games/teradrive/

i sure wish i could combine a mac and a genesis (or any other retro system for that matter)

Wow, $1000 for a 286 and a Megadrive? Sounds like a good deal to me.... :P

Necro-Bump!
I saw a Sega Teradrive on Reddit the other day, and I thought y'all might dig this.

Dig that ALPS mechanical keyboard with a Sega Logo! I'm drooling.

It passes the Sonic test!

I know, I know, It's not a great PC, but it's good enough to play Wolfenstein!

Not to Mention Secret of Monkey Island!

By the way, this isn't mine. It belongs to a redditor who goes by u/DeChief on reddit. I think he's looking to sell, but I don't know anything about him, and cannot vouch for him.

The Teradrive looks like Sega's take on the X1-Twin.

In fact, according to magweasel, it is indeed the exact same kind of thing.
