For Breakout, Kirby's Block Ball on Game Boy.

For Pong, I'm getting creative and going with Air Hockey for the e-Reader.

If it's game art you're after, you should look into some animation cells from video game cartoons. They're pretty inexpensive (you can get a set of them for a small fracton of those fan-made pieces) and they're of course all one-of-a-kind pieces and officially licensed. A lot of times they come with...

Confessing over and over that Super Mario World was your first game isn't going to lend you much credibility. But also Racket, "1000 games" probably isn't accurate -- if you think about, you'll probably find you've played a lot more than that...go and up your total quick! Unfortunately for this kid,...

RPGs seemed to get lost somewhere...in some hole or box or equally obsured area during the last six years. MMOs and infrequent blockbuster titles maybe did it. FFXII was one of the few RPGs I actually put some time into in the past half-decade, but I still haven't got around to finishing it with all...

In 1991, that was like giving you the oppurtunity to mke your own damn Sonic levels.

There were some definite improvements in the SFII series as well, but it was mostly an advantage-taking thing.

The irony is that Capcom almost went bankrupt after the cost of producing milllons of Super SFII SNES and Genesis carts.

I've been pretty impressed with the Wii interface so far...it's pretty slick. I think the "Channel" thing fits it seeing as how the controller is a remote (I can see how non-gamers would find that more approachable), and the icons are big enough that you don't have to do crazy aiming to select stuff...

I've wanted to put together an article on why the 3D Sonic games are actually not bad for for a while, but it's a lost cause and a lengthy argument. I think it's mainly popular belief that leads people into believing the 3D Sonics are no good. People start complaining about the games long before the...

Ooh. No one picked the real hidden gems... Strider 2 -- Unprecedented 2D action. Skullmonkeys -- The spirtual successor to Eartworm Jim from its creator, Doug TeNapel. Silent Bomber -- If this isn't the best 3D action game on the Playstation, then it's without a doubt the top candidate. Of course, n...

I don't think that there really is much any hidden gems in the n64 department, as their games were advertised very well. And games we're made so that everyone could get them. The only hidden gems I believe would have to be imports. There's several hidden gems on the N64... Racket, is this one exclu...
