Re: Component cable mod for TurboGrafx / PC Engine?

This is an old thread however if anyone is still interested, one option is to tap off the PCengine's RGB pins and connect from a SCART in > HDMI out connector (needs to be one that needs power, not just an adapter), as the SCART would allow you to connect RGB and audio in, the converter will then co...

Re: Any diabetics here wanting to share recipes or tips?

Tried my wife with rice, first time for 1.5 years. Did 83g dry rice which will have given her a spike in my rice dish - mixed with mushrooms, onion, leek, sausages and bacon (plus soy sauce and parsley). Washed the rice about 6 times over 3 hours, so rice was clear. Too the volume of the original dr...

Re: My last N64 commission, quite likely

Kind words guys, thanks indeed. I did a couple of mods many years ago for a couple of guys here as I recall, am I right in my thoughts I did something for you, was it a wi-fi game controller Anapan - if so (my memory might be wrong), is it still working ok? Thing is that portabalizing is a labour of...

Re: Any diabetics here wanting to share recipes or tips?

Easy way to know carb content is to look on the side of the product. You'll probably find your pastas are the same in carbs. Gluten needs to be avoided for someone with an intolerance with gluten, eg celiacs. A slice of the bread in the recipe above is about 3g net carbs; compared to a normal piece ...

Re: Any diabetics here wanting to share recipes or tips?

Using grammes is weight, cups is volume and a cup of a product can depend on it's density and if pressed down, etc - which is why it is surprising so many recipes use cups and not grammes. When I tried Dierdrie's recipe (ie cups) I weighed out what the cup weight was into grammes to keep a consisten...

Re: Any diabetics here wanting to share recipes or tips?

I'm going to add one recipe or super-tip to a different post to keep them separate and also keep the thread live and going. @moderators - could you please sticky this thread as this is something that could help people rather than a "what game are you playing now" type thread? The only way ...

Re: My last N64 commission, quite likely

Got the console board wired up and tested however it was dead, which was rather annoying. I had forgotten how long and intense in time making a system is and i'm not sure if I can be bothered any more so certainly for the time being I have decided not to persue this project.

Any diabetics here wanting to share recipes or tips?

As mentioned elsewhere, my wife is a diabetic and i've made and also developed various recipes that help to maintain lower blood glucose levels; i've done a fair bit of research.

Anyone here either want to share their experiences or need advice??

Re: What are you playing?

I have no interest in modern games and have stuck to the above games as I always go back to them. I prefer Red Alert to Command & Conquer games as they are fairer as opponents and also have a bit more humour. I like quality games that rely on game-play rather than flashy graphics or "trying...

Re: What are you playing?

I'm currently playing Red Alert 3, before going back to C&C Generals and Red Alert 2. Only other games I really play sometimes are Quake 3 and versions of enhanced Doom games like Doom 64 for Windows.
