Re: Hypothetical forum reorganization: what does it look lik
I think the forum could work without any sub-forums in reality, and be better for it.E ven if traffic tripled, there would still be no issue following everything in one board. I for one would not be upset at seeing emulation questions or collection pictures next to gaming news. This has the bonus of...

Re: Let's Talk Awesome Controller Adapters
Great thread! I've recently been wondering if a Raphnet adapter (or any other low lag option) could be used with an 8bitdo 2.4GHz wireless adapter. I'd love to have the sweet, sweet D-pad of the M30 2.4g with half-frame wireless latency on PC. I have Saturn adapters and even USB Saturn pads, but wir...

Re: Have all the "Official X Threads" hurt forum participati
I'd be inclined to agree that the current thread structure hurts the site but overall it is just one facet of the problem. I think if we had more frequent threads about a wider variety of things (or just established post limits for topics) and restructured the forum to be less segmented it would hel...

Re: Mouse recommendations?
I don’t know what to tell you, chuckster. This trackball IS optical. What’s more, I am a digital artist. I use this trackball for my graphic design because it’s even more accurate than my Wacom tablet. It’s that precise! Maybe you should try messing with your sensitivity settings in your operating ...

Re: Mouse recommendations?
It’s time to step up into the world of trackballs, xero. m This is the “mouse” I use every day. It’s perfect. And it just happens to be 50% off on Amazon. I use this as my 'couch' mouse. It's been solid for 3 years and the battery lasts forever. The only downside is it is not as precise as a good o...

Re: Mouse recommendations?
I'd recommend a Logitech g403, Logitech's new mice are all really good, and that model seems closest to what you'd like. I use a g203 but it will be too small if you like to palm grip.

Re: Road to a new gaming setup
The question I have is: Is it possible to use CRT Emudriver on a normal PC? As in, can I add a secondary GPU and run 15Khz games without the need for a second computer? I have seen other people discuss doing this, but I have not. I don't see why you couldn't since this is only a custom BIOS for the...

Re: Road to a new gaming setup
Here's how my setup looks right now: Sorry for the late reply, but here are some resources for making audio adapters for the Extron: Since I replied to you, dbElectronics actually designed a PCB just for this purpose. Retro Gaming Cables in the UK picked up the Open Source design and now sell these...

Re: Road to a new gaming setup
I recently bought an Extron 300 Series 128 HVA model. Don't forget about audio switching whichever you get. Since my Crosspoint had audio capabilities I made my own phoenix>RCA connectors but I would actually recommend getting a 12-input RCA audio switcher (Extron make some that are just as solid as...

Re: Audiophile, Budgetphile, and Dontgiveaphile thread.
Has anyone ever tried those Pyle/Rockport/Generic Chinese stereo amps? My Dad had a Rockport PA head and it seemed pretty good for the 2-3 years he had it. Just looking for plenty of power for cheap.
