Re: SNESdrunk reviews

I love that you found something unique to focus on with your "English Friendly Japanese Games" series. There are really no other YouTubers who are able to do what you do with this series. I have been a subscriber since you released part one! I know that your handle is SNES drunk...but I'd ...

Re: Homebrew worth playing?

I'm generally unsatisfied with homebrew games. They all seem distinctly lacking. These most people know about, but are by far the most professionally made. As such, these titles feel the most like fully fledged titles. No feeling like you're playing an amateur game here! Sega Genesis (Dreamcast too)...

Re: Replacement Bluray cases.

Haha! Not that exact test. I will say though that they definitely seem a bit sturdier than standard cases.

Its a blu ray case... If that's what you need, then it'll do!

Yes, the Blu-Ray logo is printed on. I've had mine for 2 months with no signs of the logo wearing/scratching off.

Re: (Seeking Advice) I want to play a cRPG. Where should I b

Let me give some background... I'm familiar with DnD 3.5 (participated in several campaigns). I can competently play one of the simpler classes and/or DM the more "RPG" elements of the system. I never really got a good grasp of the magical classes. I also played one campaign of Shadowrun. ...

(Seeking Advice) I want to play a cRPG. Where should I begin

Title says it all, but there are some stipulations. I'm looking for advice on what is an excellent first cRPG (the release of Pillars of Eternity has me thinking if this should be my first one). I'm not looking for the "Citizen Kane" of cRPG, so please, no recommendations of whatever games...

Re: Replacement Bluray cases.

I just recently purchased a pack from this eBay seller http://stores.ebay.com/easyshopca/Blu-Ray-Cases-/_i.html?_fsub=4352773013 The quality is excellent. As good or better than standard retail cases. I order all of my blu-ray shipped, so unfortunately, some crack cases in the mail. As such, I often...

Re: Are the Zelda games approachable?

Starting the Zelda series with Wind Waker is a mistake, because it's the turning point where the franchise jumps off the rails. I suppose I should clear up some back story. Wind Waker is my 3rd Zelda game. My first was the newest Link Between Worlds. I thoroughly enjoyed that one. Being able to ent...

Are the Zelda games approachable?

I'm currently playing my way through Wind Waker for the first time on the Wii U. Of course, it is great, but I'm noticing a few hang-ups. I keep finding myself not knowing where to go next. My most recent moment of un-clarity came with the Wind/Earth temples. I had no idea where to find the two sage...

Re: Emulationstation (windows) .. how to launch retroarch?

Front ends work very well with emulators like Retroarch. It will make you emulation function more like a program as a whole, where you will be able to select the games to launch directly. Look into Hyperspin if you're interested. Others are Maximus arcade and Gameex. You can also launch games via Re...
